Media and entertainment law firm Simkins LLP will be holding a lunchtime bitesize session for AWUK members titled “AI: Drawing the Legal Landscape” providing an overview of AI, the law and its relation to those working in animation, and presented by Partner Jules Althoff. The seminar will cover: (1) the current legal landscape as it relates to AI, (2) how the law might protect existing animated works; and (3) what to consider if you are using AI tools to create existing works. The seminar will take place online and will last for 30 minutes, after which there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
